Ranger Plant Constructional Supports The Jason Foundation

Suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 10 – 24. We lose approximately 125 people in this age group each week across our nation. Many of those considering suicide give some sign of their intention, either verbally or behaviorally. The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI), a nationally recognized leader in suicide prevention, strives to increase awareness about this silent epidemic that is sweeping across the nation. Suicide has been declared a leading cause of PREVENTABLE death.
JFI provides programs and resources for students, educators, parents, and communities to help recognize and assist young people who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide. The Jason Foundation has never charged any school, family, or community for the use of their programs or materials. This ensures that lack of funding is never a determining factor in who can obtain the information that could possibly save a life.
It is for this reason that Ranger Plant Constructional has decided to support the vital mission of The Jason Foundation. The buttons below will provide additional resources for you, your family, and friends.
- Parent Resource Program – A program developed by The Jason Foundation to provide additional information to help you identify and assist a child who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide.
- Ranger EAP – This Employee Assistance Program is provided on behalf of Ranger and provides services for our workplace.
- Suicide & Crisis Lifeline – The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7/365 for anyone in emotional distress or concerned about another. You can call or text 988 to get connected to a trained counselor.
